My Musical Career

from 1960 began to play the piano, and later studied harmony and counterpoint
1969–72 was a pianist in a rock band, accompanied the school choir
composed music for a school film, and incidental music for a play
1974–81 studied musicology at Humboldt University, Berlin
1976/77 intern, Music Department, Radio DDR II
1979 arranged exhibition to mark the jubilee of the Institute of Musicology in Berlin
